I Have A Dream – Soon Enough Housing Will Be A Thing of The Past In Abuja & Nigeria

Real Estate as a business is one of the most important things I’m obsessed with.

Not because it’s going to bring me wealth. This is not to say, I’m not interested in becoming wealthy.

While wealth is a factor being considered……………..

There is more to it than just wealth.

My PASSION To Deliver Value To The Ordinary Man Who Has Grown To A State In Life And Deserves To Own A House No Matter How Small, So That In Future, When His Legs Are Tired, When He Can Only Depend On Pension Income, When He Has Children To Cater For, When Things Aren’t Going His Way In Life As It Ought To………..

Ultimately, He Won’t Resort To Packing His Luggage And Heading Straight To His Village To Keep Up With Life.

And Where He Decides To Do So, He Could Easily Sell Off His Property To Start A New Life Elsewhere Or Even Redesign His Life Again……

Of course….. That’s The Dividend of Wise Investment.

So Back To My Dream………….

Owning A Real Estate Business Has Been A Dream For Me.

It was a dream far away that I wanted all the years of my growing up to achieve.

I probably didn’t know much of the pain points or frustrations in it except for my own personal experience as a child of a good parent.

My father after serving the Nigerian Army for more than 30 years retired with a discharge allowance I couldn’t have received if I were to even work for a daily pay.

He was brave enough to have used his Udoji allowance (The allowance paid by General Yakubu Gowon) to buy a plot of land and erect a mud block of 3 rooms on the land before retirement.

That was where we found ourselves as we grew older.

At a tender age, I was ashamed of taking my friends to this house.

I was bitter about the house.

One day, my sister wrote a letter to my elder brother who I was staying with at the time to inform him that it rained and the house had collapsed with my mother in the building. Hence the need for a donation to rebuild it again.

As God would have it, we grew up and rebuilt the house today.

This was one of my pains.

How can a man work and can’t put monies together to buy or build a befitting house that will outlive him?

How can a man with 8 children and more than 5 grandchildren living under a rook covering just 3 rooms survive?

How can a man after serving his fatherland for at least 30 years retire with an amount just to keep up with daily feeding for himself and a large family?

Unfortunately, at a point, we resorted to just a 1 square meal to survive.

I can remember how farming day and night was our only way to survive famine at the time.

Life has never been as tough as that…………..

Listen to this……

Most of us living in the cities and paying huge sums as rents today could have used the same amount to buy land and build a house for ourselves and the future of our kids.

I understand the fact that we have problems so numerous that building a house for ourselves has been relegated to the background.

But the problems even though are so many are not just enough reasons not to build.

The N500,000 to N5,000,000 we pay annually to landlords is just insane if we don’t have plans to start ours soon enough.

My major pain point then was the fact that the ordinary man isn’t well paid to own a dream house.
Therefore I was going to start something that could help them.

As years rolled by, I found the opportunity and started only to discover even the worst problems than I had imagined.

Amongst the many problems is the fact that most people are ignorant of what it takes to buy land and build a house.

The level of fraud in the sector is just too many to comprehend.

The connivance of fraudulent agents and their principals as well as some notorious Government officials has eaten deep into the sector too.

The wickedness among people who you rely on to help you achieve this feat is unprecedented.

The hunger for people to just make money in the sector outweighs creating value most times.

Today in Abuja… So many stories from the ordinary people will make you cry.

There are countless structures in Abuja that are standing empty and unoccupied because of the cost of rents.

Families are gradually leaving this city to nearby towns like Keffi, Abaji, etc just to keep up with daily expenses.

I know this because, for the last 5 to 6 years now, I have been beaten mercilessly by these fraudsters, who have their allies even within the Housing and Development Authorities and Relevant Government Institutions Supervising This Sector.

Can I change this narrative?

Yes! I can.

Definitely, It Won’t Be Easy…………. But We Can Do It Together.

My Experience Will Be Used To Protect The Ordinary Man and Make Them Achieve Their Dream House.

I have started putting together all relevant pieces of machinery to help check these menace and ensure we achieve the ultimate goals.

While it’s okay to be involved in sales of properties…….

Not everyone has a clean hand in this sector.

We must watch out for them and be able to clean the sector.

Watch Out As I Roll Out A Soft Landing For Those With Good Dreams To Own A Dream House.

My name is Tim & I’m Obsessed About You Owning A Dream House.

Let God Reign…….
